I just finished The Real Faith by Charles S. Price.
It was so revealing and transformative. God used this book to really open my eyes, not to truths I didn’t already now but to truths that I know but don’t truly apply to my life. It is so easy for humans, or at least me, to strive to will something more or better.
But Jesus teaches just the opposite. There is no will power strong enough to muster faith, or at least the type of faith that “moves mountains.” The only way to get that type of faith is to depend and wait on God, who is the Author and Finisher of our faith and who is a father that gives good gifts.
The book is a quick read, sitting at only 131 pages long and 13 chapters deep. There are a lot of testimonies that Price writes about from his many sermons and campaigns. All of these testimonies highlight the fact that we can’t will faith but God gives it as a gift and a fruit of the Spirit. It does get a little repetitive at the last two chapters, but this does not negate
So I highly encourage you to check this book out if you haven’t. Or if you have, you should give it another read.
